please help ! fault code

hi ,
was checking my aby s2 for fault codes and code 00515 came up . I think it camshaft position sensor .

Is this something to do with the timing?
what problems can this cause?
where can i find this sensor ?
does anyone know tthe price of new one?
is this problem easily fixed?

Its the hall sender located behind the camshaft sprocket. If its broken completly the car won't start, if the car runs but you cant get rid of the code then I would check your belt timing especially the bottom pulley to see if it has sheered the woodruff key. It should throw your car into safemode (0.4 bar turbo pressure). A sender costs about £110 + VAT from a main dealer if I remember correctly

i have eased code i will check again in a couple of days . car didn't like to start once on saturday but has been fine since maybe that s where the code came from.
