    Injectors and Hoses

While I stand the car for a few weeks and sort out the throttle cable issue. When I remove the Injectors to have them overhauled (112500 miles now) will I have loads of fuel come out under pressure?

I am going to replace all the top and bottom injector seals, etc but do the brass inserts need replacing as well? (The the injectors fit these inserts) Is it an easy job to replace them as well?

Lastly, I bought some Samco ‘8mm’ hose to replace the damaged ‘turbo to N75’ original Audi hose that is fitted but is 170®c good enough for this area or should I use a higher tolerance hose?

You wont have loads of fuel come out under pressure, just a small amount. However you should undo the nut very slowly and have a rag close by to soak up the fuel

No, you need wire reinforced hose for the wastegate hose pipe

I would just pop off the fuel relay in the fuse box and start the car , run till it cuts out = no fuel in the system
