    series 2 install

Just found how little room there is when fitting the 20VT into the series 2, Not much room once the turbo fitted. Is this lack of a gap normal on this conversion. Will be taking my small grinder to it tonight to provide a bit more of a gap and making a heatshield.

There's not that much space in the S2 either but that looks tight to the inner wing, perhaps you'll need to take a notch out the inner wing to clear the DP?

Are you running the DM flywheel with spacer? Looks like you've painted it red?

      close

Room is a bit tight, supposedly even worse in an S2.
No need for spacer as this is a 3B mated to a CGR 6 speed using 3B clutch and 6speed everything else. Was tight getting that in too.

As I recall, space was not too much of an issue around the turbo when using the RS2 manifold. However, when I went over to a tubular IM I did hit some problems and had no choice but to cut into the inner wing.
