    Water pump failure

I have been losing a little coolant lately, and found a leak at the waterpump. So armed with a new o ring I took the pump of,(no simple job) and found that it wasnt the o ring but the pump itself. coolant was leaking from the hole at the side of the pump.
Has anyone had this happen before, I haven't seen it.
Every where shut on a Saturday So I will have to wait till next week, which pisses me of as the car is all in bits, and I am very busy next week.
Where is the best place to buy a pump for a 3b other than the stealers, don;t really want a pattern part.

This is a common failure on the 3B, i've heard of it before a few times.

VAG parts told me that Dealers are the cheapest for an original part

Their surcharge and postage is not worth it.

I know the ABY worked out about £40-45 then £30 surcharge but you get that back when you give em your one.
