Isn't it amazing how much more elegant that IM is ? Look how much access is gained to the Motronic connector panel on the bulkhead. Did you retain the breather system or bypass it with a separator or cyclone tank ?

Sorry wrong one, but anyway that was the catch tank. Check this one and you will see hat the plastic cover underneath the hood has to be cut in order for the throttle to rotate freely during the small movements of the engine, at least in mine it touched the hood, but have used harder engine mounts.

Timusin i also had to modify the auxiliary radiator, i doubled its thickness beacause i moved to the right in order to have the air filter in front behind the rs2 badge on the mask. Also the the metal hoses of the radiator were modified and now they are "looking towards the engine bay. I also changed the thermostat from 87 d to 80 degrees celcium and maybe it,s a good idea for you to do the same since during summer turkey and Greece are a nightmare for these cars... I am also fitting a switch inside tha cabin in order to turn on and off the main radiator in city heavy traffic.If you need a photo of a certain area of the engine bay let me know. HTH Nick

that air filter mod is amazing! any drawbacks? (dissadvantages?)

Ski at the moment no drawbacks, althiugh i haven't finished everything. First i have to find what is causing my problem ( hesitation, like the fuel pump is cutting the fuel at 1.3 to 1.5 bar). Anyway i will have it sorted by next week as now i did nithing due to easter holidays.
Note that the sound is awesome, you can actually hear the purbo spin....
The thermoinsulation tape i have used does wonders, and so does the larger intercooler, but i will make an alloy thero shield after i get the car running properly. A lot of details will be done after i have solved the problem but there is no point doing anything at this point unless the engine goes as it shoould.
