Hey all!
Actually my question is a ancient one. I'm planning to change turbo and I don't want to change con rods. My goal is to achieve 400-430hp and lowest/biggest torque as I can get. Right now I'm using T04E/K26 hybrid and it has a really nasty lag and I don't like it.
My question to you guys is - if I'm going to buy an K26/GT2871 that should have same fast response as K24, what RS2 software thinks about it? Logically thinking software is going to restrict it to spin/produce air in the low rpm's. Ignition map is programmed for RS2 turbo and if I use ball bearing turbo that spins faster than RS2 turbo then I would not be able to benefit from it? One way is to force turbo to spin with harder waste gate spring but still ignition map would be wrong.
Tell me if Ive got it wrong. Same question about K26/3071.
Thanks,
Marko
