    Headgasket for 82.5mm bore?

Does the 82mm gasket work, or would I have to get a bigger one? I've heard different opinions on this.

          Thanks for the offer!

How does boring out the gasket work? I don't remember by myself, but someone said that the layers were attached to each other in some way, right at the edge of the cyl. holes?

I use a torque plate to compress the head gasket. And then bore it out.

If you would like one just say...

Ah, I think I've seen something like that before.

How many have been running with modified headgaskets?

I have not used one yet, but will be using one with my JE's and over 2bar boost. Faheemo and an American member on this forum are doing the exact same thing

I spoke to a head gasket specialist and he suggested that this maybe the best way for me to achieve what i wanted to do.

                  I Second that !
Ive searched high and low for an alternative big bore gasket.

My bored gasket is on- just doing the manifold and plumbing and will be firing her up soon.
