Charcoal filter solenoid valve

Hi guys,
Is it normal for this soleniod valve to 'tick' when the engine is running?
It sounds almost like a lazy lifter, and I can sometimes hear it from inside the car (but not so much outside ).

Just wondered if it points to anything in particular being amiss?

Its normal. Horrible noise one of those noises that once you have heard it you cant stop hearing it, if you know what i mean....

Strange though, I didn't notice it as much, or even at all on the other cars I've had (two RR's and an AAN).
