    Bloody car will not start????

Got the car back last night after having the main rad replaced. Before it went in the garage it had been sat for a few weeks cause the bat was flat.

Picked it up last night took some starting then but fired up, went out a bit later to B&Q and is struggled to start thought it might need a bit of a run sowas thinking of going to santapod in it on sunday.
Went out to it tonight to move it further up the drive but it wouldn't start would turn over fine?????? Tried a few times and still wouldn't startIt seems as it is not sparking but i'm no engine god so haven't a clue? My dad said it smells, as if it is flooded???????????????????

Getting really ****** off with it now and thinking about selling it when it is all fine

Any help what so ever would be great and thanks in advance

Try pouring a small amount of water down the back of the cambelt cover. The cam position sensor can sometimes go a bit dicky and this will help if that is the case....

    Can you pull the codes?

    Cheers,

    Steve.

        Haven't got VAG com........(stupid i know)

I was thinking the head had gone and there was water leaking into the bores? But the water level doesn't seem to have dropped? But the heater seem to only work when the cars is reved 2k or more so that made me think it was the head??? I had the water pump replace a few weeks ago when i had the cam belt done. I'm hoping it isn't but we'll see as it's going back in the garage on monday but did really want it for tomorrow but i'm taking are lasses TT to santa pod instead so at least i get to drive something

Thanks for your help and i'll let you know the out come

charge it again if you haven't already, immo will pull errors when voltage drops even though it still turns over, pull the ecu fuses for 5 mins and start again, as the steve's have indicated might well be hall sender, debatable whether the ecu will let it start when it's got previous hall sender errors, so pulling the fuses will wipe out all errors immo , hall sender etc, also check the current voltage indicated with ignition on

Well Rob came round got it all fired up, and running really nice. Thought that was it many more happy miles of motoring. But did she have different ideas
The next day it wouldn't start again like there was water in the bores Plus the heater wasn't working again and a few other things. In the end i rung Rob (GT500) up and took it over and my fears were right HEAD GASKET Gutted but Robs on the case

              So all was linked

Thought i'd let you all know the out come of it and the expensive news
