        Nick,

That's the charcoal filter solenoid. You need to keep it plumbed in. What I am going to do is connect the solenoid to the grey pipe in your picture with silicon vac hose. This will maintain the proper connections while removing the PCV side of things.

I've took the liberty of drawing an arrow on your pic to show what I mean.

I left that valve in there and blocked the bottom of that t-piece (the bit that joined to the metal breather pipe)

But Ben's suggestion is better !

It was hard to see where evertything went at the time I did mine and blocking the bottom part was easier!

I did the same and blocked the bottom part as it still vents into the IM through the top half through a one way valve. I will eventually connect the bottom part to the inlet tract when I get more work done and the engine installed and finshed, works fine as it is though for the time being.

              Nice catch tank

                Nick,

does the tank have another outlet somewhere to vent from, or will the crankcase pressure carrying oil droplets go into one of those connections and the 'clean' oil free fumes come out of the other one?

Why do you need to do that and where are you going to connect it?

                    Doug,

I am in no hurry to get it done, but as Ben says to 'maintain the proper connections' and probably to the intake connection before the turbo, here:

                        Martin,

its a turbo oil filter made by Bailey.

I will drill the tank at the top and try to do the exhaust trick.
I had the ecu fault codes read today and it indeed the Map sensor, so i ordered it straight away from dahlback racing. Two hours later albert pm me about his one but the order had already been sent.

anway i will try to take advantage of the time it takes for the map to get to me (i ordered it with UPS so it should be two days time to get to Crete), and finish the catch tank, the cryogenic intercooler spray(see pic), the ICE and other small bits.I drove the car today for an hour even though it does not go more than 1 bar cause i couldn't help it. The exhaust does make noticable sound and the turbobreathes so easily with this filter mod that i just can help wondering what the sound of the turbo spooling up to 2.0 bar will be... Alos i have fitted the dahlback racing blow off valve and it is awesome.
I just cann't wait for that map sensor to come!!! Last night i didn't sleep at all in order to order it as soon as dahlback opened this morning:wacked:
