Throttle Damper bracket Torx Screw Part number please?
Throttle Damper bracket Torx Screw Part number please?
Can anyone give me the part number of the throttle damper bracket Torx screws please?
They have completely rounded out now and I only just managed to get them off this time by hammering a bigger bit into them. (Is it only me that has to remove this bracket to gain access to the coil packs?)

I had the same problem when taking the coilpacks off mine a few weeks ago. Depending on how OEM you wanna remain you could just replace them with 2 s/s SHCS's, look a bit better than the slotted pan heads.
I have a couple you can have, if it can wait to the next southern area car meet
Fine. Thanks Chaps, I will have a look at work and find something suitable. We have tons of Stainless steel fasteners...
Cheers,
Steve.

BTDT - they are soft as playdoh... Get a couple of M6 bolts and cut 'em down to size. I had to cut a slot in the old ones with the trusty dremel for a flat-bladed screwdriver to remove them.
They are pants aren't they. I don't get it really, as you HAVE to take them out everytime you want access to the sparkplugs or coilpacks, why make them so soft and an unusual fitting....
Cheers,
Steve.
