OK
I know this sounds counter-productive, but here we go:
I have a full bolt-on RS2 kit with no internal mods running a Mihnea remotely tuned chipset. Problem is it's running way too rich despite all the help from the good man a few years ago. Performance is poor on WOT and the lag is not good (4.5k rpm before any boost) for daily driving off the line. So my question is:
I have the stock K24 turbo reconditioned and ready to go back on. What else do I need to change apart from the ECU chips?
Just to clarify, it has the 3 bar MAP sensor, RS2 injectors, Bosch Motorsport fuel pump and RS2 Exhaust Manifold are the key bits.
Can I therefore, just remove MD147 turbo, replace chips and all will be good? Or do I need to drop back to stock injectors aswell?
My intent would be to get a stock homefry off Paul until I can figure out what to do longer term. (Maybe MOTEC as they can be tuned locally but that is big dollars)
Thoughts appreciated. BTW, Current peak boost is 28psi so obviously K24 shouldn't be more than 19psi if I recall correctly.
Cheers guys
