part number i received about bosch motorsport regulator is not working,i mean the regulator is experimental stuff still..

while i was talking to german tuners before they were saying something about modifying the rs2 regulator?!?
does anybody know what exactly is done to modify rs2 regulator for 5 bar?

    thnx

Press the top if it down in a vice while measuring the change - if you use an air line just make sure the difference is whatever in bar from the original to 5 bar - as air will measure differently to liquid

      Timucin,

I'm suprised that you were told that you could not get the 5 bar pressure regulator, I got mine (part # B280 550 113) from here , I was told that this was a motorsport part at the time, but was still able to get it. This was a year ago now....so maybe something has changed .
If you dont fancy doing the vice mod, it might be worth asking some of the big tuners, Dahlback e.t.c. if they can get you one.

            LOL,

I must have got very lucky last year then, nice to know I have a very rare part .

Seriously though it might be worth finding out if it still can be got from the place I got mine from.

We can supply a racing adjustable fuel pressure reg which will control pressure up to 8 bar max, it does not have pressure adjustment for vacuum or boost so is designed for systems where ecu controls all fuelling requirements and this regulator will maintain a constant high pressure in the fuel rail.

---is that description ok for my car?
