RPM Signal wire colour and pin no. on ECU plug

I am looking for the pin on the ECU plug that i can get RPM signal.
Can i use the Tachometer pin???
Need to know ASAP.

For the AAN the signal side of the G28 engine speed sensor is Pin T49/55 (and Pin 2 on the G28, Pin 1 is the Ground, connected to T48/55 via a blue wire). T49/55 is a grey on grey wire, as identified here:

For the 3B, the engine speed sensor signal is on pin T47/55 (ground is still T48/55).

What i am trying to get is thr RPM signal for my Apexi AVCR.

Still not got a rpm reading on the AVCR. mmmm

on my out put from my vems ecu i have a engine speed wire, with my old engine being a 5cylinder and my new engine being 8 cylinder does it work like an old style taco where you have to change the signal for a differnt number of cylinders??
