Oil smell and rear main.

hi all, been having a spot of bother for the last week with smell of oil in the cabin when the engine is hot.

got it up on the ramp today, the rear main is leaking (as is the sump a little)

i cleaned it all off with brake cleaner and jet washed.

i can still smell the oil however and it appears (at a glance) to be dry under there.

anyone got any other locations it may be coming from that you cant see from underneath?

i really dont want to be doing a rear main if im honest.

Check around the rocker cover,if it leaks there the oil will find a path to the sump.

Check your crank case breather isnt blocked up. If positive pressure builds up both crank seals will seep oil. BTDT
