      Hi

034 have dyno graphs now of their chip tuning packages for the GT2871, GT3071 and RS2 turbos on this page if you click the turbo links http://www.034motorsport.com/index.php?cPath=22_109 the graphs are there

They are saying they are MAF limited now http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/view...t=21484#251392 what do they mean are they talking bore diameter?

No, the bore diameter is fine. It's the voltage range of the MAF that cannot read/register a higher volume of air. The ECU is reading max load on the MAF.

Classic Motronic tuning. That's where the MAP sensor comes in handy.

            Hi

Thanks for the answer, how is the issue overcome? is it an ecu solution or a maf mod solution/new maf(sq?) or a bit of both?

            Regards
            Mark

We are working on upgraded MAF's as this is posted. The current dyno's are produced with a stock setup.

                Hi

do you think this is a minor tweak or the liberation of quite a few more HP?

Will an RS2 MAF not solve this problem?

Don't worry Clive, the MAF won't be a problem. It just needs someone who knows how to map.

The reason I ask is that when I upgraded the S4 from K03s to K04s, whilst there was no need to change the MAF (with the right tuner in the seat of course ), I upgraded to RS4 MAF (and airbox) so that the higher airflow could be measured with the likes of VAG-COM.

For now this will allow better tuning, the power level we'll have to determine when we tune them, but the tuning will be much more flexible since the MAF will actually be in range.

All of our 2871 and 3071 turbo's are sold with a .63 A/R unless specifically requested.

It might, but I believe we are looking for a more cost effective and available solution.

Jamo, we are still working on the MAF setups, when they are ready we'll let the masses know.
