    Main Bearings

    Hi hope you can help

What is the actual part number of the main bearings I need to run in a 7A/3B/ABY/ADU/AAN

I have searched the forum and can't find anything. And what stamp marks / numbers should be on a genuine set of shells?

I have 3 sets in front of me and they all differ.

If you get some from an Audi dealer take each journal set out of their boxes and check them before you accept and pay for them.

I found that they sometimes come with digs, nicks and scratches out of the bearing material almost as if they were all just chucked together into a bucket before they were boxed up.

This is why vagparts won't sell them now, anyone got a good place they recommend to get them from?
