S6/S4 owners question

Right Guys and Girls

My S4 has been sold but i agreed to fix the radiator before letting go as the day before i smacked a bird and the rad was not looking to pretty..water leak so on ...So i have got the radiator of K7 ERG (craig) S6 avant but there seems to be 2 retaining holes for some kind of fluid on the airbox side of the radiator ...Does anybody know what these are for? and are they related to the cooling system as i have tried to check ETKA under cooling system and it does not show them

Not related to an auto transmission oil cooler are they Steve?

It has come off an Auto

Is that were the cooler is situated..never owned an Auto so not sure on this

Could well be then, quite possible they have an integral gearbox oil cooler in the Auto rads.
(To my shame I can't remember the exact set up on my old UrS4 auto )

Must be that then so no poblem fitting to my S4 and left without blocking them off

I'd imagine that'll be ok. Worth checking that there's no residual trans fluid in there before fitting, just in case.

I used an auto rad on one of my 20v's before, sounds like as mentioned you just have an auto rad, should still work.
