3 pin temp sender VS. 4 pin temp sender

I will replace the temp sender on my Rs2, since I have the radiator ++ out, BUT is it the same sender??

The part number is 034 919 369C on ETKA I think....

And is the number for the after run pump switch 054 919 369B ?

the sender was updated to a 3 pin variant so yes should be the same even though it no longer has four pins on it.

Finally got the temp sender from VagParts, but then I got another problem… There are 4 wires and only 3 pins and the socket fits both ways!!

Witch one shall not be connected??

The 3-pin sensor does NOT require the 12V supply that is present on 4-pin connector.
