    ignition coil amplifier .

Hi all after a long process i have finally put the engine back in . Yesterday the engine turned over but i was getting no fuel and no spark . I changed over the crank sensors and tried again , this time i had fuel but still no spark. I think it is the coil amplifier thing that runs the main lead to the dizzy cap which is faulty. I was just wandering if there was a way i could test it . Also does anyone know how much they are or have a spare one lying around. Thanks Rich.

Is there anyone near you with a 3B that runs? You could try your POS in it to see if it is at fault.
Is the hall sender ok? Distributor timed ok?

I had a problem like this with an imo but it was ABY loom. There is a relay that makes a shortige to ground on the line for a G4 sensor that reads the pin on a FW. I just taken out the relay and start the engine. The relay is under the dash and I think the number on it was 364. Green colour relay.

              This is a 3B right ?

Check www.s2central.net for some tech info on checking the electrics on the Motronic.

Do the stupid things first like that all ECU fuses are OK and you can see 12V input to coil module, to the hall effect sensor (at dissy) and the injector rail.

With an LED tester on the hall effect sensor look for a pulsing signal to confirm there is life from that and go from there.
