ABY S2 engine without turbo for a while?

    Hi guys...

Would I have any ECU problems with running an ABY engine and ecu without the turbo and with a "bag of snakes" 7a exhaust manifold? I pulled the engine out of my coupe quattro to put a v8 in it instead and now the ABY s2 engine is in a 93 90 quattro that i'm converting to s2 spec. I'd like to run it naturally aspirated for a while if it's possible. I don't see why I would have any problems. The only thing I could think of is possibly the wastegate frequency valve but as long as i'm running NA it shouldn't be working since I'm not going into boost. Basically I'm thinking of using a stock v6 air box for now, with the S2 MAF mounted between it and the throttle body. I figured i'd put a filter on the crank breather setup and that should do the trick. Well besides pulling the coolant system, and oil setup to the turbo, and pluging the bypass valve nipple on the intake manifold.

    Sound good?

    Thanks
    Josh
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

I'd probably thought that tho it might be able to get it working like that it just would not perform that well being designed for the turbo etc.
