You don't really want to do that on a standard turbo as it'll not last that long.

However, if you don't care about longevity of the turbo then you replace the wastegate frequency valve with a bleed valve... not sure if it causes a fault code though and also not sure if you need a different map. Make sure you check it on a rolling road or you might melt a piston or valve etc.

Well yeah - you could boidge a map to do that, or just install a 2.5bar WG spring... or a boost controller gizmo.

Let us know how long it takes before the stock turbo destroys itself in an attempt to attain those boost levels and also how much heat is added to the intake charge along the way.

It'd be fun trying :mischeif: 4WheelDrifter sais his flew with a bleed valve, I suppose a WG spring would be even more aggressive

Turbo? Nope, it will overspin. It was tried so many times.

From the gossips - some poor local turbokiller/street/drag racer likes to do this (because second hand k24/k26 from audi can be bought for around 50 eur here). So you get 10-15 turbos for one RS2 unit . He uses boost controller to lock WG (pressure to upper WG chamber) after 5000rpm.

And of course he has oil pipe manual valve to block oil to go to the exaust, after he is overspooling turbo. Just to get home for rutine turbo replacement.

I havent seen this car personally, but witnesses say, that it can stay neck to neck with 300-350hp cars when racing.

All story above can be true, because it's starting to get hard to get second hand turbos in the area. I mean turbos are sold 10x times quickly, than year before.
