Off the shelf Vacuum test kit?

    Hi,

I am looking for a sensibly priced new vacuum testing kit and I was wondering what other’s have purchased before?

I have seen this particular one in ebay, item no ‘150235932703’ - “Gunson 77003 automotive vacuum pump kit” for about “£43” including p&p. Although there is no real need for the kit at present, it looks like a handy bit of kit!!

And just in case you are interested, there is a brand new ‘Audi S2, S4, S6 manual ‘6’ speed gearbox’ for sale, ebay item number “280245927796”. Now at £50 (ish) pounds

    Regards,

    Andy H.

If you believe the manufactures blurb, yes.

I do intend to use it for testing the vacuum hoses for the boost leaks, etc.

I will have al look at all suggested kit and take it from there.

I might even find a boost leak that I did not know I had, if that makes any sense!

        All the best,

        Andy H.

Yes it can, it come with numerous adaptors which you can put into the vacuum hoses. It can be used as a pump too. You can also conect it to the nipple on the wastegate and check the upper chamber for leaks.
