    Ur S4 timing belt?

After my scarey find last week (cracked lower belt pulley) Ive decided to change the belt (&) pulley on my brothers S4. Has anyone here any experience of doing this?
I know the actual engine bit is the same as the S2 but Im just wondering if I can do it without dumping the a/c gas? The condenser & rads are all right in front of the enginge in these cars, not offset like the S2.
Can you move them out of the way on the hoses ok?

I think you can do it without taking the rad out too, you just have to use L-shape support for the rad and condenser.

you definately can do it without removing rad and a/c condenser, both can be swung out from needed side. Enough for tools to fit in between. Getting rad out without emptying a/c would be quite a feat

Just remember to support rad and condenser somehow when swinging them out.

              update,

done the belt on the S4. Some ways its actually easier than the S2 because of the poly-V belt.. only one tensioner to take off.
Its a bit more awkward with the rads being there but a couple of hours did it .
BTW one of the guides posted said the bumper is held on with 2 x10mm allen bolts-- not this one! 4x m8 bolts! still np tho.
Also the headlamps removed gives much more access, only extra 5mins to remove.

I made up a crank lock tool too if anyone is interested in 5mins! cost max 50p!
a bit of 60mm box section with a slot cut in it, hold it with a pipe wrench-- job done!
I could easily make it neater with some bits welded to it but welder packed in so make do!

Its funny how you always need about 3x the torque to REMOVE the big bolt!
Nothing 4feet of 1" steel gas pipe cant handle!

Most guides are seem to be made for US-spec whale bumpers
