    KKK 26/27 8# Part No ?

    Hi

Im currently running an RS2 turbo on my car, from what i have read on this forum the kkk26/27 6# isnt so diffrent from my RS2 turbo. (not worth replasing RS2 Turbo)

But what kind of power should i expekt from a K26/27 nr 8 exhaust ?
    420+ HP ?

And what is the rigt part no for this turbo! ?

It depends. And K26 and K27 #8 are different housings.

Not exactly understood your question. Do you need housing only? If housing, then I can guess, that part number is 5326 100 7320. This is number for porsche K26 housing with #8 (version 11) turbine.

K26/K27 about 400 bhp max, it's not better than the RS2. A K26/27/29 I believe is the one to have.

But that one is with the nr 6# exhaust.

The k26/27 comes with different exhaust sizes nr 6 and nr 8,
the smaller exhust (nr 6) about rs2 turbo power.

        How mutch power can a k26/27 8# delliver ?
And what is the part no for the whole turbo ?

Prosty had a k26/27 8# exhust on His avant before he dropped in the gt35r
        It had about 430hk

It seams, that you don't understand, that k26 and k27 mean. Those are families of turbochargers, not some particular parts. More than that, usually turbine wheel with shaft (which is specified with numbers #6, #8, #11, etc.) is matched with apropriate housing, and sometimes it's not possible to switch them so easily. Note, that those are internal KKK numbers, not sizes or A/R. Good for us, they approximatelly match A/R numbers on K26/K24 family turbos we are talking now.

Moreover, the compressor usually dictates horsepower numbers. K27 family has ones, which barely exceed 200hp, and ones, which can flow ~550hp.

My point is, that there's no such turbo K26/27 8#, each hybrid is individually built by a tuner.

Let's say if I would want to build such turbo (stupid idea, whilst 034 sells same, or better hybryds for same price). Then I would take one porsche turbocharger for hot side:
          Turbo P/N: 5326 970 7041 or 5326 970 7042, porsche P/N: 951.123.131.03. Note this must be older turbine with 7mm shaft nut (till 1995 year production).

And take HUGE Mercedess truck turbo for the cold side wheel and housing:
          K27-3371OLAKE, Turbo P/N: 5327 970 7145, MB P/N: 9060967199

That should get you 430hp. And also loads of LAG and spent $

Note, that those are just theoretical calculations, you need to consult turbocharger repair professional for matching parts together, machining, balancing, etc.

Okay, i believed the k26/27 was a model delivered by KKK

From what i understant is a k26/27 nr 8 exhaust
cold side K26 hot side k27 but i might have it all wrong. (mutch bigger than my rs2 hot side)

I have a offer to by it cheap used turbo.

Hybrid can be done in both "directions". I mean k26/27 or k27/26.

Ask the seller to measure cold side inlet (where the air enters turbo) and hot side outlet (where exaust gases leave turbo). Then write down all the numbers he can find . We will try to figure out what beast it is.

P.S. If you have photos of the turbo, but don't want to publish them here, then you can PM me. It can help to identify turbo capabilities.

Okey, im waiting in Part no and some photos.

Hope it's a hybrid witch is better than the rs2 one.

A bit booring to not have power all the way to redline.
                Have a 12.34@402m with the RS2 Turbo.

The GT3071R KIT sounds really tempting, priserange is a bit diffrent..
