    Fed up with my ABY

    Hello.
I'm fed up with my ABY. This fault AGAIN shows up and I cant get it away..:
    Code:
    Adaptation Limit (Mul) Not Reached
As I observed.. when the outside air temp is less than +19c, car runs +/- fine.. but it feels like it should run better. My other S2 3B runs better. ABY makes 1-3 gear ~0.9bar boost, upper gears about ~1bar, but not 1.2bar as described in s2central.
When the outside air temp is about +21c and more, car is runing bad as hell.. the funiest thing is that boost goes up in all gears to 1.1-1.2bar, but the car is damn slow when doing WOT in any ger. I cannot even feel a strong pull in first gear after 2.5rpm. All the gears are so smooth and slow.. grrr.

Maf changed, fuel pump changed, lambda changed, speed sender and that other one near it. What else can couse this damn fault code? I'm getting werry mad about this car..

    Ideas?

Another thing - cruising about 90-100km/h, it shows me about 10l/100 this is too much for an stock.

Boost leak or knock sensors. Might be worthwhile getting standard chips in there if you don't know what it's running so you know exactly what you should be getting.

Pressurised my sytem, couldnt get more than 0.5bar on my boos gauge. And the pressurised air slowly drops (in ~30secs-1min).. described in another theread. As I understand thats normal. Also no noises can be heared.

i always try to do a boost leak test bypassing the turbo because you can never be 100% sure if there is one there or not.Try to pressurise the top tube going to the TB on it's own, then the tube from turbo to that tube including the intercooler.
have you done the Mark H mod on the intercooler?

Ok, I'll try to do that tests.
            What's a Mark H mod?

there is a samco hose that is placed on the outlet of the intercooler where the intercooler meets the tubing of the traverse.By audi there only a small inner rubber washer as a means to prevent air leaks, and it usually breaks and dissappears creating a boost leak.VAGPARTS have the correct samco equivalent which you cut and use as a replacement and it cures that bit.

0.5 bar sounds like what I get with a bike pump, you need a compressed air line and give it some!

0,5 bar is enough to find boost leaks. ~1 bar is max pressure to test leaks if the crankcase ventilation is presurised too.

Boost figures sounds quite normal to mee.

Change fuel filter if you dont know how old it is.

Fuel filter OK, changed 2-3K km ago.
Yesterdays evening my ABY suprised me even more. 4th gear, WOT and a CUT-OFF by ECU. Now I got two faults, one that I mentioned before, and this one:
                      Code:
00544 - Maximum Boost Pressure Exceeded
N75 brand new, original. All vacum lines to it OK.

i dont think thats right. testing my s2 with 0.5 bar and there was no leak but at 1bar i found one.

@lv_max carefully check all small hoses from intake mainfold. i had one leak on hose that goes from intake to clima system and other on hose from intake to rear diff (vacum).

i advice you to take those hoses down one by one and check them......

Ok.. This week I'll check all what I can check of those hoses. Otherwise, this all makes me cry
