    boost leak?

fixed one problem , then another starts! (BTW thanx johne, the noise has gone, it was the bolts for the powerflex, maybe we should make that info public?)
Anyway I now have a major boost leak. I can hear it in the car but im ******ed if i can see it! Ive had a good look at the hoses. It seems to be worse when i boot the car hard. Otherwise I can get the boost up to about 1.2 before i hear the leak.
Whats the most likely place to look?
I had a look at the intercooler but only thru the grill- no big holes anyway.

I do Al, but thanks anyway!
Its probably something loose as I did the cam belt last week. Ill need to take the bumper off (again!) & have areally good look. I think it sounds like a loose clip or a slight split in a hose thats why the car still runs ok & does still give SOME boost.

You need to pressurise the whole system to get to the bottm of these sorts of things. There are also lots of hoses in teh passenger side footwell, especially if you have AC.

yeh I thought that! just wondering if there was a "usual suspect"?
I can swear I can hear a hissing noise when the car is idleing coming from behind the instruments but I dont remember any pipes in there?
Even if there was they would only be small bore things & wouldnt be enough to cause the leak im getting.
