Anyone with a 3B in a series 2 cq had the oil light dimly light at tickover (mine at 760-780rpm). Goes out altogether if you hold at 1000rpm and only comes on when oil very hot 100deg + after a bit of quick motoring. Only just noticed this as was using the car in the dark for the first time since the conversion. No other issues apart from this.

I'v seen this before. I would bet that it's nothing to do with oil presure, more likley some sort of dodgy earth either in the clocks or else where on the relevant wiring.
