But as always I am sure there is a difficult and an easy way so advice please wold be great to draining properly and also as to what would be a recommended coolant to go in.
1 - turn the heater to full so as to get most from whats in heater matrix.
2 - open the expansion cap
3 - undertray off
4 - remove either of the two big hoses at bottom of radiator... The rearmost one is easier to get at... The clip for the other one can be in a right PITA location. If both clips unusable then remove the wiring to the big hex fitting at bottom of rad with the fan switches and tease that one out
For refilling, loosen the bleed screw at top of main rad and run the engine - gradually adding water so as the expansion tank never runs dry until bubbles stop coming out of bleeder... Let the engine cool then top up expansion tank.
A liter of coolant is plenty for UK usage - add more if you like but I wouldn't bother with more than 2 liters...
