What injectors to use

What injectors should I use for a GT3071R 0.63? My car (s6) has a 3" turbo back exhaust, rs2 manifold, fmic, oil catch can, uprated fuel pump, cold air intake, 3 bar map.

Should I use the Siemens 55ilb jobs that 034 sell, as I think that 440cc's would be too small. Am I right?

Getitng back on track 55lb = 55 x 10.50 = 577.5 CC Injectors.

right Jamo,as i said,i was mentioning Arons setup only for the power he made,not the fuel capacity.

Of course motronic can cope with big injectors+tune.Ask Doug and others,if the car is running normaly as original with those injectors though...Ask anyone who has realy big injectors with any aftermarket ECU how nice the idle is.It is not the usual thing is,it?At least you can get away with that with smaller injectors,makes it feel you have a normal car,not a rally one

what do you mean standard 3bar?rs2 is 3.8bar,isnt it?

Most injectors are rated at 3bar. Stock Rs2 fuel pressure is 3.8bar

The RS2 injectors are rated at 3.8 bar AFAIK the same as the porsche orange injectors. This is because they are not generic but for a specific application.

how many HP can provide this injectors with for example the 044 bosch fuel pump?? 400hp max?? maybe less?? or more??

462 @ 3bar will flow 519 @ 3.8 bar.
Flow vs pressure is not a linear relationship, flow increases with the square root of pressure increase.
This example:
Pressure increases by 3.8/3= 1.266
Flow increases with the square root of that, so flow increases by 1.125

Espen: bah, its posted earlier. I really got to learn to read first!

One theory (?): the bigger the injectors are, the safer it is, not maxing the injector itself out under max load...if you know what i mean?!

If the 44lbs injectors flow then 519@3.8bar, then they are still bigger than the orange porsche ones which according to Mihnea are @ 510cc@3.8bar!

Yep didnt' know the 034 were rated at 3 bar, then it only comes down to which one has the better spray pattern.

Old thread lift... What injectors do you guys recommend for 500-550hp(crank) used with motronic and with some upgrade potential? For now I have the RS2 green tops.

I have heard that Siemens Deka 650cc is not ideal for S2/RS2 motronic as the latency adjustment cannot be made perfect. I want to play with a set sometime to see if this a minor niggle or major drama.
