034- Chip Tuning Package, GT3071R Stage I

[Bram]

Just wondering if someone here on the forum is running this Motronic chip setup from 034?

http://www.034motorsport.com/product...oducts_id=1220

Any experiences with this chipset in combination with the GT3071R? Or are we all waiting for the new chipset in combination with their new and bigger 034 MAF housings?

[A80Avant]

they are making new bigger mafs???

[hoffer76]

just about to order same package myself interested to here peoples opinions.

[GT500]

They have mapped it for 91-93 octane.
Not great for any car other than in the U.S.

[A80Avant]

isnt it 91-93 US octane equivalent to 98 european octane?
has to do with RON/PON numbers

Indeed, the 034 GT3071R chipset will run with European RON 98-100 (=93-95 Octane).
Javad told me their kit also runs US 99-100 Octane, so this would equal European RON 105 or something (race fuel).

I am not afraid about this fuel US-EU tuning at all, just waiting to get some real-life experiences from forum members with the chipset. Until now the 034MS GT3071R chipset has been kept within OEM MAF tunings, but they are working on 4" MAF housings for this turbo, so they can tune to the max. HP keeping the 4" MAF in stock position.

It's mentioned somewhere in the posts by Javad:

I have just fitted a 034 chip set, but no time to test it at the moment. I have a couple of Faults which i will try & sort out in September then report back.

ok, cool. Do you also have fitted the 440ccm injectors and the 1.9 bar WG spring from their GT3071R kit?

It's all about RON, MON and PON, as explained here:

What EM are you running? Do you already have a project page on here? That might be even more interesting

[jade]

No sorry, no project page the written word is not my specialty, at the moment i have a rs2 manifold but will change to a wagner.
