    Effective water injection alternative?

Would it be effective to introduve water into the intake using this method?

A ultrasonic fogger/mister feeding straight into the intake.

    Each droplet is 3-5 microns.

IMO water does'nt make any more power it just gives you a safer margin against datonation.

If i can run 2.3 bar of boost on 98 fuel with an 8.4 cr with no det, the problem can't be that bad.

If you want to make more power why not inject something a bit more volatile

I agree with the above, i also run water injection, on or off you don't really notice the difference and mine runs 2.2bar 8.5cr just gives you the comfort of knowing you are adding a bit of protection to detonation at the top end oh.. and it keeps your valves clear of carbon...

i almost run 2 bar (1.9) but my cr is 9 and water injection does make a difference on hot days, even without mapping for it.Sometimes with some methanol it makes even more a difference!

Wasn't thinking about it myself, just thought it might be a good idea for somebody as it looks like it could be more effective than standard water injection.
