Ok here goes,
I have and 82 UR running an 20v (a mixture of AAN & 3B and possibly some ABY), the flywheel is from a WR with a WR clutch and pressure plate. the clutch is slipping and its almost new less than 1000 miles im guessing the increase in torque is too much for the clutch, the gearbox is a 5spd from a CQ, and the starter is 3B.
I have a ABY flywheel that i want to use, with the spacer plate thingy, if i get an ABY clutch do i have to change the starter?
is there enough adjustment on the mounts to account for the 8mm spacer? Are there any other mods that are required if i fit the ABY parts?
I have a 3B clutch ready for another engine, will that fit in the WR or the ABY flywheel or are they too deep or shallow,
Could there be another reason for the nearly new clutch slipping.
Advice would be good chaps
