Expensive new, they seem to be similar to the 7A cams on paper. There are some running them on here. They're £700+vat new!

                Sort of 7A...

                Intake 224
                Exhaust 213
                lift 10.5mm

                catcams 1002335
                duration @ 0.1mm 275 / 258°
                Duration @ 1.0mm 239 / 224°
                Lift 11.50 / 10.00mm
                lift @ tdc 2.15 / 0.40mm
                valve gear O.E.M.
                descr HYDR: rally & cross

Have about <1mm more lift and approx 10 degrees duration per cam but inlet:exhaust ratio is similar. More than likely got a much larger lobe so you get a lot more overall...

                This has been discussed here.

Ok Thanks Andy for the info, the ones I have for sale are not the same Catcams that you refer to, so not similar to 7A cams.
I was just reading that link that you mentioned. Thanks for being so prompt.

Pleasure. I take it your cams require altered valve gear then for the extra lift?

Sounds sweet, should work really well with a turbo that can go to 8k+!

Just as a note: I've measured two sets of 7A cams and they are only 212 on intake. Manuals are wrong stating opening 6 before TDC, should be 6 AFTER TDC making it 212 and not 224.

                            @ Audi CQ

Do you remember at what lift you calculated the durations, 0.1mm or 1mm, or imperial like 4thou or 40 thou.

This will make it possible to compare audi cams to, say catcams or dbilis and the like.

But if they got the 7A duration and timing wrong, who says they did'nt get all the others mixed up.

1mm as most do in Europe.
