G70 Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor

When I added a reply to a post about MAF connectors, I decided to update a MAF FAQ I had on AudiWorld UrS-cars. I thought I would share it with you:

I was out at my car checking the wiring on the N75 WGFV for somebody having problems on AudiWorld and noticed that my "RS2" MAF does not have an Audi PN ((PN 034 133 471 N) on it. Just a Bosch no. and what I presume is a Porsche number starting with 951. Does this make sense? (The car is my 93 S4 with RS2 conversion).

      Updated RS2 MAF part numbers

Answered my own question through the power of Google and some persistance:

"These are all the numbers quoted
on top of the RS2 MAF.
      BOSCH
      487 05 2A
      0 280 213 017
      951.606.125.02
      ********************************
      Audi part number 034 133 471 N
      ********************************
Porsche 968 & Audi RS2 MAF are the same part.
Porsche list: $355.70. Supercedes a .01 part, btw.
      www.partsbin.com for $237,-
      - RS2 MAF is electronically the same like 3B MAF
but the flow restriction is smaller in RS2 MAF
due to the missing 'rat shields' "

I don't know about the 968 story, but I know they were on the 944 turbo, i.e. the "951". Therefore, I presume that because I do NOT have the Audi PN, what I have is a 951 Porsche part. (But its the right RS2 part).
