Audi S2 ABY overboost Motronic recovery

Hello, my Audi S2 Coupe ABY have a problem.
When I push completely the accelerator, the Motronic go in recovery, I think when the overboost must work, because the overboost now doesn't work, the car in 6° speed take a max speed of 190 Km/h and then doesn't go more, because the Motronic go in recovery. I hope that you can help me with this problem

Do you have a boost gauge?..if so what does it go to..sounds like WGFV

Hello, my father has try with a boost gauge and the max pressure that he has read is about 0,8 bar not more.

It sounds like you have a leak in the intake system. Check all your pipes. A pressure test is the best way.

if it's running in limp mode, there will be a fault code stored.

The ecu should be checked for codes

Hello, if I check the ECU with the vag, I read max pressure exceed, not any other error code, the car has take to have this problem without any notice.

The link that i gave you a year ago to S2Central does'nt work anymore?
I reckon that the required pressure value it's stored in your PC in a couple of hundred files/emails/textmessages and so on......

Hello Stefano, if I asked about the turbo pressure it is because I don't know what exactly the pressure of the turbo on a completely original S2 ABY should be.

I don't remember that you gave me a link to this site with pressure informations, and I also have a new pc, so I don't have any email or such with S2 tech specs.

This is a very good forum for cars, where I've registered to talk about S2 and RS2. If you have other, PRIVATE and PERSONAL, problems with me, this is not the place to talk about them. No more answers will be given for personal provocations or topics that are not relevant to cars and such.

I've no concerns about this forum whose people technical knowledge and kindness are exceptional and not by chance I've decided to subscribe to.
