Ah so!! This Saber-EDV unit must be the famous springless BPV/DV that you were talking about last week.

personally id say avoid forge and baileys. seen many with boost leaks and the sound is a bit girly (sorry girls)

          id say turbosmart or GFB.

my mate removed many a forge and bailey from imprezas when they came in with issues. lots were found to be leaking at boost over 1bar.

he was a dealer for HKS, turbosmart, GFB, HKS and a few others.

basically the hks and blitz are good but cost loads. nice bling.

the turbosmart and GFB were similarly made and both hold well. there is a nice turbsmart one which can be wound by hand like a radiator nob thats both atmospheric and diverter. you can adjust how much and were.

i run a GFB fairly basic valve. around 100 quids worth. got it for nothing but otherwise id be on a similar one anyway.

my mate did a group buy for the 1.8t forum some years back and that was GFB.

interesting read. That is good to know.So far y car doesnt seem to be leaking so hoping that the forge stays like that.good thing is that i have lots of caps to block the tubes and make a leak test on the dv,so i might check it at some point
