    Poor fuel economy

    My S2 is seriously rough on fuel.. average is 15.9mpg

    It does get thrashed a lot as it's my second car but still.. 15.9 is baaaad.

    I don't get any temp warnings and the car warms up to 90 just fine. Only other thing I can thing of is lambda sensor?

    Any thoughts?
    1994 Audi S2 Avant - in pieces
    2006 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TFSi - goes fast

      Lambda, MAF or either of the two temp sensors, most likely the one on the back of the head.
      '93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.

          Try not thrashing it and see what you get under more relaxed driving conditions?

                      Thats what I get, new MAF, new Lambda.

                      Mainly spirited short journeys.
