a6 - feels flat, lacking power?

..as the title says, a6 tdi - pd115 bhp, seems to be making boost much later than normal and feels like its been strangled. There is no obvious whistling or leaks at tick-over or when trying to speed up, in any gear.

It doesnt hesitate at all, feels oddly smooth even though it can't pull as normally would. Also no obvious on or off throttle extra smoke and its not consuming any fluids.

Any pointers??? Was beginning to think it could be a leaking intercooler as it does boost up but slower and higher up the rev band, so almost like the extra flow from the turbo was overcoming some of the pressure loss.. All hoses are secure that i can get too.

Check that no leaves etc are blocking the airbox/intercooler as if its anything like the earlier tdi then those get blocked easily.

yeah, changed the airfilter and cleaner the airbox out and guides......cheers
