Rocker cover gasket

I noticed the other day i have a seep from the rocker gasket.Is it a real pain to change? Anyone BTDT? Would it cause any problems using the car still, as i probably cannot get one untill the middle of next week and,obviously, it is GTI that weekend.......

Thank yourself lucky that you haven't got a 7A engine. You have to Take the inlet manifold off to take the rocker cover off!

I know I have to do it!
