Samco Hoses on RS2, what a pain to fit!

Just fitted my Black Shiny Samco's to my Turbo and Radiator.......................................... .................................................. ...........................................what a pain in the ***!

Bumper off, Intercooler off, lots of rusty hose clips that were a nightmare to get off, my knuckles have been grated off, im so sad now cuz its taken all day and thats all my day off GONE.........................no more day off till next week! boo hoo.

I was just about to say what a waste of time fitting them, but I have just found some new horsepower from dem new fangled pipes of silicone!

I must have had a boost leak, cuz its going like the clappers even more now! whahay!

Shame it doesnt look OEM tho, but then again, sod it!

Im wondering whether to take the Alloy 'Turbo Inlet' (after the MAF) section off and put the whole new Samco on the Inlet of the turbo? I like the Alloy bit, but the top part is the Waffle OEM and I cant bear to cut the new samco in half, incase the alloy pipes seal is on its way out!

    Hmmmmmm decisions decisions

Don't cut the samco you'll regret it, just put it on one of your fleet of RS's. You must have had a boost leak as it's chipped a well isn't it? At least there on now.
Just some finishing touches to do now

dont tamper with it.That hose is a bit tricky to put and the alloy is always better than samco.Keep the samco as a spare.
Nice going!Boost leak i presume around the IC area...

      cant wait to see it!

Mine were a pain to fit as well, just make sure all your hoses and clips are on properly otherwise hoses popping off will ruin your life no end. Outstanding bits of kit though, alot of my boost hoses really didn't have much life left in them at all.

Really? Fitted 3 sets of samco's and had no issues with the boost ones, the coolant ones are harder.

Try it when the hose clips are worn and rusty!
