What kind of pressureunit is this?

Have recently been tearing around inside my S2 ABY and found this little thing: http://picasaweb.google.com/Trankell...55627234632866

I´m quite new to the 20V turboengines and wonder if this is common instead of using the built-in pressuresensor?

Dunno what type it is, but its definitely an external MAP sensor of some sort... Its reasonably uncommon to have one, but not unique.

It looks like GM 3bar map to me. Not so common in 20vt.

          !!!!

          Spot on, kwlw!

I recognize the numbers on tho photo on the link, thanks alot!

Fish: yea it´s Martinssons old S2, but 370 hp.. i dunno. Anyway everyone seems to know more about the car than me anyway i decided i have to get to the bottom with what gear i have in the car before i start doing something expensive.

So, sofar i know i have an S2 sedan, with a modified S2 ECU with an external GM 3bar MAPsensor, RS2 k24 7200 turbo, stock ABY injectors(hm is that really good?), stock s2 IC and unknown fuelpump/regulator (probably stock too).

So far i think i don´t like the ring of those stock injectors

So Fish, if you or anyone else here can tell me what´s been done to my sweet s2 i would very much like to know instead of taking evereything apart

Hehe, I just saw on martinssons "garaget" that there was 370hp kit. i thought it might be the same as mine. But i have a K26/27 on mine and RS2 ex-manifolid. the rest is pretty much same as yours exept for the mapsensor. Why dont you phone martinsson or arthursson who have both owned the car befor?? Good luck anyway =)
