ok so heres the question for you guys, just checked my car out and i have a burnt valve, so i was looking to start my project in the spring but since i have no choice im going to start the head work now as a start, since i need to send the head in to be rebuilt and so forth with new valves and lifts and so forth, would like to get your opinion if i should port and polish the head, also should i leave the stock cams or put in 7a cams, (i heard that you only replace only one of them not both) also should i use stock valves or replace them, please let me know your opinons and theories about all this what i should do and all since i would like this sent out by next week, thanks for the help

700 is quite a lot, but still. If You ask me, I would use stock crank instead of stroker.

I have a ready tested recipe for 700hp 2.2, proven on track, strip and on street in multiple projects.

Shoot me PM if interested in offer. I can say in advance, not cheap.
Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspirated

My advice - seeing as you have like 9 posts here... Spend a few nights searching this forum - just about everything you ask has been covered in some fashion. There is no single answer to what you ask, but you need to form your own opinions for what parts to buy for this project... I would take Repo up on his offer though - he has built some of the Scandinavian monster Audis and what he doesn't know about building such an engine probably isn't worth knowing... BUT - you still need to form your own opinions.

Ball park - reckon on spending $8-10k on this engine build - maybe more if you have to import the exotic parts from Europe.

And from experience: all estimates has to be multiplied with "PI" (3.14)
