    Modifying a FPR

I need to modify the 4 Bar FPR upto 5 Bar.

How do I connect up a line to the FPR input and measure the output pressure?

Would it be easier with a Fuel rail and sealing up the injector outlets?

    Suggestions please?

Is the flow correct in my pic?

Best to do it on the car I reckon with rail and injectors all fitted. It is RAIL pressure you want to change - so look at the input and output fuel hoses so you can determine which one to hook up a fuel pressure guage. Check this by taking a pressure reading with the control hose fitted, then disconnected. At idle you'll see a difference of 0.5bar if you have it plumbed right.

Then 'modify' the FPR in the time honoured fashion (with mole grips and horses tied up safely outside) so that you can see 5bar pressure at idle with the control hose disconnected.

    Make sense ?

Cheers Paul - that was the only easy way I could see how to do it.

Does anyone know what fittings are on the fuel rail so I can connect a gauge in it?
