silicone hoses for 7a for my aBY?

    Hi all

as you know i have modded a few bits and at present i have developed a water leak.

basically im ont sureif its a hose, stat housing or radiator but ive plenty of experience with the "chase the leak" game having had Vw's for years with plastic water flanges.

i have no water jacket in my turbo its oil only. i also have no aux rad.

to the hose and 7a guru's can i use a 7a samco or equivelent hose set?
    Is there such a kit?
where can i get it from?

i presume i can as i want the aux rad delete and the other hoses are just blocked. i presume my aux water pump now has no use as i have no watercooled turbo.

    your thoughts would be appreciated.

    cheers

7A has the additional rad too so the only real difference is the aux water pump hoses. Personally i would try to keep it to flow water through the head. Turbo water pipes can be bypassed fairly easy, one pipe on the water manifold, the other on the block. I'd use an ABY kit, then modify/bypass as needed.

You could buy it from Roose as they will sell individual hoses. The SFS hose might also be an option, it has a joiner at the aux rad output which can be blocked with a dump valve bung.

at present i have 2 bungs made by a mate. they fit well. i want to clean that up as its might close to the alternator belt.

i am looking at new radiators on Ebay as the bottom corner on mine always seems a little wet. i got a crunchy from the expansion tank down.

alsonot sure if im torqued enough on the head and it may be lifting slightly under high boost and revs. gonna do that at weekend.

Sorry forgot Roose are looking to make the hose.

I'd say the 7A hose is the best option, it's about £20
