The WGFV for the ADU and ABY is a 034.906.283 K - the 3B had a J. Did you change the ECU as well? It could have something to do with your mapping - Mihnea or Paul N might be able to help.

We dropped out the 3B engine and wires, and gerbox, and ECU...build in a complete ADU engine,wires,gearbox,intercooler,etc....but i havent ADU wgfv, and i think the 3B wgfv isnt good for me,i was buy an new...but this part number is not same with my new wgfv....

what happening if i cut out the wgfv, and put the boost from turbo cold side to the wastegate, and im regulate the boost with the wastegate spring force??

      it is good or not???

or i need an specially ADU/ABY wgfv??

      sorry the too much questions

      and thanx...

Karl, what is the part number of your new WGFV? It might be the one from the A3 1.8T - a F valve IIRC - if it is not a K valve, try putting the J valve from your 3B back and see if it makes a difference. The A3 guys upgrade to the J valve because it works better than the F valve.

If you take out the WGFV, the WG will limit boost to .4 or .6 Bar. You can use a aftermarket boost control valve, but I don't think it is a good idea as the ECU has no control over the boost if something goes wrong.

BTW - my car is exactly the same as your except that it started life as an ABY - an ADU engine, gearbox and ECU was dropped in!

I think that the aby/adu part number for the wgfv is different to the 3b because the outlets from it are in slightly different positions.

Martin is right. They're all the same except the plug directions.

What comes to the original question I think that if that pressure is not absolute, mean you really use over 2bar boost. The original WG is not up to it, nor the pipe connecting WG to the down pipe.

And also: What software and MAP-sensors you're using?
