what's the correct level of hydraulicsfluid?

I was checking fluids on the car and all was OK except for the "hydraulics fluid".
I mean the little, black, sqare reservoir with the green cap the front of the enginebay.

To me the level seems low but I can't find any indicator on what the max.level is.
If you unscrew the cap there is a spring underneath that is in a sieve.
The hydraulics level is now allmost at the bottom of the sieve.

    What is the maximum level???

The level markers on the bottle are a PITA to see

There is a little point poking out of the top of the cap that is the end of the float. If its level with the top of the cap, you need mroe fluid.
It pokes up about 5mm when the float is at the right level HTH

On top of the sieve I saw a kind square notch, is this what you mean?
Bottom of the notch is max. level?
