    electrical steering pump

    Hi,

I am looking for ANY electrical steering pump that has only ground and +. so without any "brains"-ecu or something.

It needs to have its own oil tank.
I need one becuase I will no longer use original belt driven pump.

You guys have any experience with it?
I would need some part number or a hint from which car should I take it.
Or of course If somebody have some in stock let me know.

    Thanks,
    Edi

It's been done with a Peugeot 106 or MR2 turbo steering pump.

There's a couple of threads on here and a big one on the motorgeek website.

plenty of people on motorgeek have been using Mr2 pumps from years 1991-1992 models,Gnutz was using a 106/saxo version but i believe he has/is removing it and putting a Mr2 version on.

      this is a Mr2 pump

Mercedes A class has built in reservoir, you could fit a check valve to control flow, I have no part number
