TurboSmart Kompact Dump Valve for 3B engine?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TurboSmart-Kom...1%7C240%3A1318

    would this fit a 3B?
Looking for a little more sound when letting go the throttle - Know that this not to the taste of everybody - without upsetting the ECU by dumping to much air to atmosphere.

Anybody knows if a 20mm or 25mm version is the correct one, and is it "plug and play" or perhaps any difficulties in fitting?

    Thanks in advance

IMO - if you *must* have a dump valve, then that one is a good one - as you can adjust it for a proportion of dump (when you wanna make loud noises) versus recirculation (when you wanna go faster)...

This valve is recirculated and blow off valve. I sell one because I have too power to this valve, and only work like a blow off valve. But if your car is stock, when it´s perfect.
Now have one friend on one ABY and he´s very happy with this.

so why does dump make you slower than recirc?

Turbo spoolup is quicker with a recirc than a blow off valve due to air being redirected to the turbo inlet.

I've gone for a GFB one that's fully adjustable for recirc & blowoff. Not fitted it yet tho. Bo had a Turbosmart full size jobbie and has gone fully recirc with it.

should already be boosting though after a woosh. otherwise turbo is too big.
