Boost Leak

Hi Guys, This thing I purchased last night would not boost more than about .5 bar
So I have found all the boost leaks on the frayed rubber pipes and where it had cut through the green pipe where it passes through the bulkhead.

However when I increase the presure I can hear something else hissing around turbo.
It sounds like inside turbo to be honest.... What do I need to check etc.

My old aby had a strange sound when i got it,checked all the boost pipes etc but the sound was still there.After a few weeks of use after being chipped it basically destroyed itself and was making the maddest sound i have ever heard a car make.Turned out to be part of the impeller had chipped off and will have thrown it all out of balance.I have a clip of it somewhere.

Sounds like what fitzy's car has been doing and leaking on the actual turbo?

Could be that there is some wear on the turbo seals and thats where your hearing the air escape, I wouldn't worry about it too much, I've heard it on a few cars and they've all boosted fine. 0.5bar could also indicate a failed WGFV, have you tried driving it since replacing all the hoses?

Its the turbo seals, the air is leakin through em, on mine you can hear the oil bublin in the sump.

Sorted lads I have piped it all up and i'm getting about 1 Bar She runs fine....

but taking it for a spin had a blow out on the front.

So now it's got the ASEV's on from the shorty.....
